  • Increasing fan diversity for NASCAR

  • From USA Today, "D.C. The two racing fans created a listener contest that would not only take area residents to their first NASCAR race but give them the red-carpet treatment as well. Their plan will come to fruition at Sunday's Pennsylvania 500 Nextel Cup race, where 40 contest winners will be bused to Long Pond for a tour of the 2.5-mile facility and visit the Joe Gibbs Racing garage before watching the event from VIP boxes.
